Machteld van de Voorde graduated as a graphic designer at the St. Joost School of Art & Design in Breda, The Netherlands.

In her work she likes to use different kinds of materials and experiment with those materials to create something new. Tactility at the heart of her work and the discovery within different graphic art techniques, such as screenprint or monoprint. All prints are made by hand.
